I’m thrilled to share that Glasgow Museums with support from the National Fund for Acquisitions has recently acquired two of my artworks, “Harmony” and “The Hidden World.” These pieces weave together cultural narratives and personal stories.

Harmony
This four-part sculpture represents myself and my three sisters, showcasing our individuality and collective unity. It symbolizes the enduring strength and beauty of sisterly bonds, reflecting how we support and enhance each other’s lives.

The Hidden World
This artwork delves into the vibrant domestic life in northern Pakistan, portraying a secure and welcoming home environment. It invites viewers to look beyond external perceptions and appreciate the inner strength and joy of women who lead their households. This piece challenges prevalent stereotypes and celebrates the empowerment and privacy that autonomy brings.
These artworks are now part of the civic collections of Glasgow, ensuring that they will contribute to the city’s cultural heritage for future generations.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at Glasgow Museums for recognizing my work and selecting it for this prestigious acquisition.
I am also deeply grateful to the National Fund for Acquisitions, whose generous support made this possible. Their contribution has been instrumental in making this incredible milestone a reality.
